Nike Zoom KD9 colorways have grown in numbers and we’re definitely not complaining because the colorblocking on this silhouette has been stellar. Now, we’re bringing you the first detailed look at the new Nike Zoom KD9 ‘Dark Obsidian’.
At first glance, the colorblocking is pretty wavy due to the shiny iridescent effect this colorway gives off from different angles, particularly on the Swoosh symbol. That iridescence is what makes this Dark Obsidian colorway unique. While the colors are dope, the tech stays the same; the KD9 utilizes a mesh heel with a fused transition to a full Flyknit midfoot and forefoot. The cushioning set up is the super comfortable full-length articulated Zoom Air cushioning in a turquoise glow color. The TPU heel counter also features a Dark Obsidian color with the letters ‘KD’.
There has been no set date for these yet but the price should remain at $150. Make sure you keep it locked to WearTesters.com for the latest updated information on this particular colorway and for all your performance needs. A big shout out to the people at Swoosh for these bad boys.
What do you think of the Nike Zoom KD9 ‘Dark Obsidian’? Do you think the turquoise color used in the Zoom Air bags goes well with the purple?
Should’ve made the zoom bag iridescent purple. The upper looks sick, but the turquoise zoom makes it look like a GS.
